Lindsay was born and raised in Oregon and knew from a young age she wanted to be a physical therapist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University in 2006 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2011 from the A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. After earning her degree, she moved to Washington state and began her career as an outpatient therapist. After a few short years, she met her husband Josh, who serves in the United States Navy. Josh's career has allowed Lindsay the opportunity to travel and expand her practice to include orthopedics, geriatrics, and pediatrics. In 2018, Lindsay began working as a school- based physical therapist and has since found her passion working with children with special needs and developmental delays. Areas of focus have included orthopedic, neurological, chromosomal; as well as children with generalized weakness. poor motor planning, and poor balance and coordination skills. Lindsay and her husband moved to Hawaii in 2019 where she continued her career as a school- based physical therapist and continued working with children and their families, as well as supporting the school team in treatment plans, and use of adaptive equipment. Her family grew while in Hawaii and Lindsay and Josh now have two kids, Olivia and Leighton. Lindsay and Josh are happy to be back in Connecticut- a state that has always felt like home. Lindsay is excited to continue her career with Therapy Works working as a school- based Physical Therapist serving several districts in the state. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys traveling, baking, spending time with her kids, and watching football with her husband.
