Katy completed her Bachelors of Science in Sport and Leisure Management Health and Fitness from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2011, then immediately attended New England Institute of Technology where she completed her Associates of Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant and passed her boards in 2013. Katy has robust experience in a variety of settings including sub acute, long term and adult day care facilities, home care, outpatient, and in schools working with students preschool through high school. Throughout these settings, Katy has had the ability to provide treatments for individuals with orthopedic, neurological, surgical, acute and chronic pain, cardiovascular disorders, and a multitude of pediatric disorders. Through all her experiences, she has found a passion working with pediatrics. Katy is a very outgoing and extroverted individual who loves being part of a team and coming up with creative ways to keep her patients engaged in exercises. Katy lives with her husband, their 2 cats, and long haired German Shepherd. Katy has decided to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and has been accepted into TUFTS School of Medicine Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
